Skoda planning variety of hot all-electric eRS designs

Skoda’s history of creating hot RS versions of its mainstream designs will spread into its future electric vehicles, auto reveal can reveal.
Skoda’s very first all-electric cars and truck will be a production version of the Vision E idea exposed at the 2017 Frankfurt motor show and due on sale at the end of 2020. It’ll be based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB electric cars and truck platform, which will very first appear on the VW I.D. hatchback. However, Favey verified that Skoda will only offer its EV with one battery output, hinting that the eRS version will focus on dealing with and cosmetic enhancements rather than performance.
“It’s about the look, it’s about the stylish feeling when you’re driving the car, it’s about the seats, it’s about the experience and I believe that’s what our clients like,” Favey added. “It’s about the experience and that’s something we can do extremely well in our future electric cars. certainly we will have RS versions of our electric cars and trucks – it’s part of our brand.”
